Guinness World Record Broken by Another Nigerian

A 26-year-old Nigerian man, Owoyemi Qudus Adebayo from Lagos State, has set a new Guinness World Record for the fastest time to complete five skin fade haircuts. He achieved a time of 14 minutes and 56 seconds, beating the previous record of 18 minutes and 57 seconds set by South Africa’s Enrico Springfield in 2022. The record attempt took place at the University of Ilorin, where Adebayo is studying statistics. The rules required each haircut to be tapered with a minimum of three different clipper guards, starting from a full head of hair measuring at least 1 cm. Adebayo cited his desire for global recognition as motivation for breaking the record, and his achievement has been celebrated by his university and the Guinness World Records community.
