The Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) women platform, has endorsed Dr Caro Nwosu for 2023 presidential election.

Rev. Rose Amauchechukwu, the Managing Director, MSMEs Women in Abuja, said this at the MSME’s business trade fair held on Thursday in Abuja.
Amauchechukwu said that Nwosu was endorsed based on her numerous achievements in both public and private sectors of the Nigerian economy.
According to her, endorsing Nwosu is the best and right thing to do for her as women of the MSME.

“The MSME forum hereby endorses one of her own board member to run for the office of the president come 2023. Dr Caro Nwosu is being endorsed because she is the best candidate to represent the women.
“Endorsing her is also the right thing to do based on all the notable achievements and contributions she has made while serving as a public servant.

“We believe it is time to bring a woman on board to run for office, and because this particular woman is compassionate, selfless and ready to sacrifice for the good of others.
“And we strongly believe that come 2023, something good will come out of her presidential aspirations,” she said.
She urged the women folks across the country to show support to their fellow women aspiring for political offices by networking and forming alliance that can boost their chances at the poll.

Responding, Nwosu, lauded the group for the gesture saying it would go a long way to gather women support to boost her campaigns especially at the grassroots.
“I am surprised and cut unaware by this endorsement and I will like to let you know that I am with you, as you are with me all the way.

“I believe the micro, small and medium enterprises are the backbones of the so called developed countries like U.S, the UK, China and Japan and I do not see why Nigeria should be different.
“We can no longer deny the power of small businesses, therefore we should begin to plan towards voting for a government that is ready to boost MSMEs.

“Because that is where the power of a developing country lays and it is the only way to strengthen our currency right now.
“Especially through the strengthening of exportation of our own locally manufactured, branded and packaged goods.
“As you can see, I am already a part of you, because I am an inventor, a manufacturer, producer and a board member of the MSMEs forum which is a national body for small businesses
“And this is where my administration is ready to boost and enhance when we get into office,” she said.
Nwosu promised to boost small business to compete in the global markets by strengthening Nigeria’s industrial base for the benefits of its citizens.
