Gov Obiano Inaugurates Gas Station At Amawbia, Awka South LGA

Governor Willie Obiano has reassured of  support  to people who are ready to embrace the think home philosophy of his administration by investing in the state.

Governor Obiano gave the assurance when he inaugurated a gas station at  Amawbia.

Government House Correspondent, Ejike Abana reports that the Governor performed the function after the station was blessed by the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese, Right Reverend Paulinus Ezeokafor, Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Right Reverend Jonas Benson Okoye and the Catholic Bishop of Ekwulobia Diocese, Right. Reverend Peter Okpalaeke.

While commending Jezco whom he noted, has a lot of people under his employ, for heeding to his Aku Luo Uno call, the Governor expressed optimism that with security in place, more investments will make their way into the state.

He expressed satisfaction  that more people are coming home to invest, and  Reechoed his call on  people to always think home which he said, is the only way to develop the state rapidly.

Speaking on behalf of Jezco Group of Companies, Barrister Osita Igbokwe, said that the investment is in furtherance to the think home philosophy of the Governor, stressing that honesty has been the company’s watchword.

Present were owner of the gas station, Chief Joseph Ezeokafor, members of the state executive council, Vice Chancellor Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Professor Charles Esimone, members of IPMAN, PEDAN, Weight and Measure, APGA members led by its state Chairman, Sir Norbert Obi, among others.
