FRSC Intensifies Patrol To Curb Accidents In Anambra

FRSC Officials
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it is intensifying patrol on major roads and highways in Anambra to check recurring road traffic accidents in the state.

The state Sector Commander, Mr Andrew Kumapayi, disclosed this in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Akwa at the inauguration of what he called “Motoring Patrol.’’
Kumapayi said that already more personnel and vehicles had been deployed across major roads in the state.
“In the last four days, we have been recording roads accidents along Onitsha-Nteje-Awka Expressways in which lives were lost.
“Since it is becoming a daily occurrence, we cannot fold our hands, while people continue to die in road accidents.
