A former commissioner for Agriculture in Enugu state,Dr Eric Oluedo, crusades that Citizens get their Rights and should as well live up to their Respondibiliies emanating from such rights.

Dr Oluedo who is a Public Health Physician, a Health Economist, a Management Consultant, a Policy Expert/Strategist, ADR and Leadershiip Services Expert, Community Development Consultant, Teacher and Politician is currently using musical songs written, composed and sang by himself to crusade for Citizens to get their Rights and crusade for the same Citizens to live up to their Responsibilities.

Since the first Citizen is the Child, the first of his 12 Songs is “Child Abuse” by Nze Dr. O.

In a chat with news men in Enugu he stated;”Child Abuse is inspired by avoidable global conspiracy against Children. This calls for the recruitment of Crusaders to end child abuse and recruitment of crusaders to ensure the child lives up to his respondibilities” based on 1979 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and 1989 OAU (AU) Charter on the Rights and Responsibilities of the Child.

The second Song, “Urunkwa (I love my country)”, Crusades for African Citizens’ ‘United We Stand’ Approach against Corrupt Practices including Ethnic and Religious Politics; Criminal Practices including Banditry and Terrorism etc. It Crusades against the Current ‘Divided We Fall’ cankerworm destroying us Politically, Economically, Socially, Technologically, Environmentally and Law and Order.
We need to show strong love to Nigeria and Africa.

He stressed that his Organisation will sustain the Crusades for the Citizens to enjoy their rights and for the Citizens to live up to their responsibilites.

He stated, “Most of the time, Citizens fail to get their rights because they have not lived up to their responsibilities. Our Research findings show that after Citizens transferred their Power to the Politicians after casting their Votes during Elections, the same Citizens abandon their Responsibilities to hold their Elected politicians to deliver on their Mandates and in accordance with the existing LAWS.
Our Crusades will stop this ugly trend. The Citizens will soon start holding the Actors in Government responsible because the citizens are the rightful owners of the power.
