A Senior Pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Gbenga Sorunke, has admonished Nigerians particularly Christians, to always forgive as it elevates one’s status and promotes unity.

According to Sorunke, ”mercilessness is a poison and it can kill easily.”

He further said what the nation needed were plausible ways to move toward the path of fulfillment and ”not things that would cause backwardness.”

The clergy, in his sermon:  ‘Hindrance to Faith’, said the ”injuries caused by mercilessness were numerous for someone to decide to hold grudges against a fellow being.
