FMC Abuja Appoints New Emergency Head After Viral Neglect Video
Following public outrage over a viral video showing alleged neglect of accident victims, FMC Abuja has appointed Dr. Timothy Samaila as the new Head of Emergency.
The hospital confirmed all victims were treated and discharged same day and said disciplinary action has begun against staff involved. Broader reforms and global partnerships have also been initiated to improve emergency care.
