The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has called for tax education to be integrated into Nigeria’s school curriculum. Speaking during the launch of the book “Taxation: Essential Knowledge for Nigerian Children” in Abuja, FIRS Chairman Zacch Adedeji emphasized the need to raise tax-aware citizens from a young age. Over 50,000 free copies of the book will be distributed nationwide to promote early financial literacy and civic responsibility.
