Faithspiration Set to Host Youth Forum Season 2: A New Evangelisation

As the countdown begins for the highly anticipated Youth Forum Season 2, Faithspiration is set to light up the Basilica Square of the Most Holy Trinity, Onitsha on Friday, November 22, 2024. Themed “Gen Zs: Limitless for Christ”, this year’s event promises to be a blend of Entertainment, Evangelisation, and Empowerment, aligning with Faithspiration’s tripartite slogan: Inspire, Christify, and Flourish.

The event is being sponsored by Lucky Chinedu Adimike’s foundation and will feature  personalities and celebrities which includes; His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi, Nollywood Star Rachael Okonkwo (Nkoli Nwa Nsukka), comedians Sir One on One, Deacon Famous, and Albino Brothers, and gospel artiste Mirabel Chisom, among others. 

On the spiritual side, Rev. Fr. John Bosco Igwe and Alexander Chimebuka Ezeh will minister the Word of God, ensuring a transformative encounter for participants.

Faithspiration Initiative was founded by Rev. Fr. (Dr) George Ebere Adimike who doubles as Director of Social Communications for Onitsha Archdiocese and the Press Secretary to the Archbishop of Onitsha Archdiocese, His Grace, Most Rev. Valerian Okeke.

It is a non-profit organization and none Governmental organization committed to drawing young people closer to God while countering the rising antagonism toward the Christian faith. 

Through its programmes, the initiative inspires faith-driven human development, leadership, and youth entrepreneurship, creating a vibrant platform for young people to grow in their spiritual and personal lives.  

Recalled that the maiden edition of the Youth Forum was held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Odoakpu, Onitsha, set a high standard with the theme “Blossoming Youth, Flourishing Generation”, the event empowered seven youths from various locations, thanks to the generosity of eminent personalities like Mr. Valentine Ozigbo, Hon. Jude Ifeanyichukwu Umennajiego, and Hon. Somto Udeze.

During the event, participants were encouraged to embrace meaningful ventures, develop digital skills, and reject societal vices. The spiritual aspect of the forum left a profound impact, with Rev. Fr. John Bosco Igwe reminded the youths of the richness of traditional practices devoid of idol worship and emphasizing the importance of faith in building a Christ-centered society.  

Building on the success of the previous edition, the anticipation for Youth Forum Season 2 is palpable. The programme promises to engage the Gen Z audience through a unique combination of inspiring entertainment, soul-stirring evangelisation, and life-changing empowerment sessions.  

Faithspiration Initiative’s mission is clear: to conquer society for Christ, providing young people with the tools to embrace faith, positivity, and a brighter future, just as Rev. Fr. Adimike declared during the inaugural event, “We cannot abandon this Earth to the devil and its agents. Our mission is to transform society for the better.”

With an electrifying lineup of speakers, entertainers, and spiritual leaders, Youth Forum Season 2 is poised to be a defining moment for young Christians in Nigeria and beyond. All roads lead to the Basilica Square next Friday as the youth gather to rediscover their limitless potential in Christ.
