The leadership crisis rocking  the All Progressives Congress(APC) Enugu state chapter is yet to be over, as Chief Ken Nnamani, a member of the Governor Buni led national caretaker committee of the party, yesterday disclosed that the suspension of Chief Ben Nwoye, as Enugu state caretaker committee chairman of the party still stands, for swearing in alleged elected ward executives of the party, without the approval of the electoral committee.

Nnamani dropped this hints while speaking at South East stakeholders zonal meeting held at the Enugu zonal office of the party, located at Nza street,Independence layout, Enugu.

On the contrary, some aggrieved grass root members of the party in Enugu state, protested outside the zonal office against  non invitation of Chief Nwoye,Mr Osita Okechukwu, the Director General of Voice of Nigeria(VON), and some other stake holders of the party in Enugu state to the zonal rally. They accused Chief Ken Nnamani of factionalizing APC in Enugu state, and vowed to take their complaints to the highest authority of the party.

The former Senate President warned against those frustrating the chances of APC in winning elections in the South East zone.He equally cautioned against  the notion that APC is anti-Igbo,assuring that APC is capable of winning all the five states in the South East zone,in the next general election.

According to him, the party can only win the five eastern state, if its faithful work collectively without considering what to gain.

He added that the party would henceforth not accommodate those indulging in anti-party activities, stressing that APC had the capacity to challenge Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the zone.

But outside the zonal party office, the protesters described Chief Ken Nnamani as partly a PDP member and partly APC,stating his imposition of Mr Chikwado Chukwunta,to take over the position of Chief Nwoye as stake caretaker committee chairman of the party in Enugu state is intolerable.

He assured that a new leadership of the party in the state will be elected alongside the timetable and guidelines  of the  party across the federation, after the congress and disclosed that he is not aspiring an ambition to join the race, for next state chairman of APC in Enugu state.
