ANAMBRA APGA TO RECALL 6 LAWMAKERS FOR DECAMPING TO APC

The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Anambra State has warned the six decamped Lawmakers in the State House of Assembly to vacant their seats and hand over all the Party’s belongs under their possession to the hierarchy of the party in the State.

The State Secretary of the Party in the State and a one time Executive Chairman , Ayamelum Local Government Area,Anaku,Barrister Anthony Ifeanya,handed down the warning during press interview in Awka.
Barrister Ifeanya,who said that they would soon start the process of recalling the decampees if the refuse to vacant their seats,maintained that since they have moved to APC that they should vacant their seats in the State House of Assembly, arguing that it was the position of the law.

He noted that they should vacant their seats because they went to the House of Assembly as honourables under the platform of APGA,saying that as far as he is concerned that Anambra is an APGA State .
The legal luminary ,stated that they are not missing the decampees and asked them to go in peace wherever they want to go and return everything that belongs to APGA to her,stressing that he was not surprise about the actions of the decamped six lawmakers.

According to him ,the leadership of APGA in the State have been monitoring and observing the decampees and found out that they were really determined to distort the leadership of APGA just because of the interest of one man and thanked God that the defectors finally come out with their true colours.
He added that there was no need having a mole in the APGA family as members as they would disappoint the party at long run.

The APGA Secretary, Barrister Ifeanya, emphasised that now the lawmakers have made their positions very clear to the party that the leadership of the party and its entire faithful in the State were happy that they were no longer with them.
He was of the opinion that APGA was not losing any sleep because the decamped lawmakers know how APGA helped them to get where they are today in the State and made it very categorical that the actions of the lawmakers will not in anywhere form affect the party’s Governorship election come November 6 in the State.

He further argued that it was even better that they know that the fugitives were no longer with the party,pointing out that their actions would have affected the party even more if they did not know that the decampees were the enemies or wolves in the sheep’s skin,affirming that now they were our of the party that they should focus with the people they have as members in the State.
Barrister Ifeanya, who also beared his mind on Anambra at 30 years,said that Anambra at 30 is shining like a beautiful bride because the State have a Governor that is doing well, saying that the Commissioner for Education, Professor Kate Omenugha,has shown an innovation by recognizing those of them that have helped in their little ways towards making education a success in the State.
He opined that Anambra at 30 years has done extremely well in so many areas, especially in the areas of education and health sectors,adding that the most important thing was that in some days ago that Anambra was shortlisted by the Federal Government as one of the oil producing States in the Country, describing it as one of he latest achievements of Governor Willie Obiano for the State.

From him, a former National Chairman of APGA, Senator Victor Umeh,called on the affluents in the State to invest some of their God given wealth in the education of the brilliant children around them,especially those of them from poor background as Government cannot do it alone.
Senator Umeh ,who described sound education as veritable tools for human capital development in any given society,maintained that Anambra State is known today all over the World for its promotion of standard and quality education,hence the vicious outstanding performance by the Students of the State at International competitions.

Also, a Promoter of education development in the State, Apostle Nnamdi Mbaigbo,said that his foundation was complimenting the efforts of the Government in the education and sports development in the State, adding that the Foundation has within 5 years today gave scholarship to over four hundred Students in the State,describing Governor Obiano as education friendly.
