Eastern Palm Estate Saga: Bloody Clash between Okorocha , Governor Uzodimma’s men

There was a bloody clash in Owerri on Sunday evening between Senator Rochas Okorocha’ s security aides and Governor Hope Uzodimma’ s security men over the seizure of  Eastern Palm Estate by Imo state government allegedly own by the wife of the immediate past Governor of the state  Nneoma  Nkechi Rochas Okorocha.


According to eye witness Mr Wilson Okafor said that Okorocha went to the site of the Estate along Akachi road, Owerri with his security men, supporters and people suspected to be thugs and wanted to force themselves into the already seized, locked Estate and occupied by security men and people suspected to be thugs as positioned by the state government since last Friday the multi million Naira Estate was siezed.

Okorocha is said to have led his squad together with his son in law, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu who ordinary said to have under rated Governor Uzodimma’s men led by Mr. Chinasa Nwaneri as they forcefully wanted to gain entry into the estate as well as sub due the government stationed security officials.


There was serious exchange of vitriolic that led to physical assaults and free for all fights as Okorocha and Nwosu were said to be seriously injured and blood flows among the thugs and security men.


Okorocha was immediately whisked out in a police van and taking to the state police headquarters.The state police public relations officer ASP Orland Ikeokwu, confirmed the incident but said he is waiting for further details as at the time of this report
