Don't Lose Focus On Your Goal - Dean Social Sciences Urges Matriculants

The Dean, Faculty of Social Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Prof. Frank-collins Okafor, has charged the newly admitted students not to lose sight of their goal at the citadel of learning.

Prof. Okafor made the call recently during the matriculation ceremony for the new intakes.

He told the students: “Focus on your primary goal. Do not be derailed. You must be wary of bad company.”

Okafor noted that Nnamdi Azikiwe University remain s one of the best schools where students can graduate while being empowered in discipline and knowledge.

Some of the students who had earlier taken oath of allegiance, promised to maximize the opportunity the institution offers them in terms of knowledge acquisition and character formation.

The event attracted parents, friends and relations of the matriculants who were hosted in various locations across the university.

Also in attendance were heads of department of various departments under the faculty.
