Delta gov orders appointees seeking 2027 posts to resign
Delta State Governor Sheriff Oborevwori has directed all political appointees aiming for elective positions in the 2027 elections to resign by March 31, 2026, in line with Section 88(1) of the Electoral Act and INEC’s timetable.
The order covers commissioners, advisers, directors, special assistants, and other appointees.
