DCP Ezekiel Hosts NFSS, Seeks Timely Information Sharing to Curb Crime in Anambra

The Anambra State Police Command on Friday received the leadership of the Nigeria Forest Security Service, NFSS, Anambra State Command, on a courtesy visit at the Command Headquarters, Awka.
The visit forms part of the Command’s sustained efforts to strengthen its all-inclusive operational strategy through collaboration with critical security stakeholders to enhance safety and security across Anambra State.
Welcoming the delegation, the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, DCP Ibrahim Ezekiel, reaffirmed the Command’s resolve to sustain proactive policing and leverage strategic partnerships to consolidate gains recorded in the fight against crime and criminality in the state.
He urged the Nigeria Forest Security Service to continue supporting lawful security operations by providing credible and timely information that would aid crime prevention and detection.
In his remarks, the leader of the delegation, Mazi Destiny Jonas, appreciated the Commissioner of Police for the warm reception and commended the Command’s proactive approach to security.
He assured the Command of NFSS’s readiness to partner with the Police and other security agencies in promoting peace, safety, and security in Anambra State.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment by both parties to deepen cooperation, strengthen operational coordination, and sustain stakeholder engagement in line with the vision of the Inspector-General of Police for a safer and more secure Nigeria.
