Criminals in Police Uniform at Onuimo, Imo state

My encounter with security operatives at Imo state that left me depressed , devastated and perplexed till date.

As I Ikhenwo Abugi not as I call myself, was returning from a church program. At about 4pm, the police officers stationed at Onuimo in Imo State stopped the vehicle which I was traveling with and started searching the young boys in the vehicle.

When it was my turn to be searched, they collected my phones and while going through my phone, they saw my transaction history cum debit alert and asked me to alight from the vehicle and told the driver to continue his journey. As the driver tried to ask why they should hold me, they slapped him and commanded him to leave.

As the driver and my co-passengers left, they handcuffed me and bundled me into their van and insisted that I should send #2,000,000 to them which I refused, insisting that they should tell me my offense and they held me till 6pm when they all assembled to leave, they threatened to shoot me if I don’t comply.

They compelled me to transfer #500,000 to a First City Monument Bank account provided by them right away or I will regret my life.

In that state of fear and uncertainty, I asked them to bring my phone which they did as they watched me transfer the sum of #500,000 to the account. Afterwhich, they kept me with them until the transfer was confirmed via a debit alert in my phone before they allowed me to go with a final threat and promise of death if I ever discuss it with anyone.

Let me stop the story so far until my safety is assured so I release the account number, name of account and other details.
I must confess that if not God, these policemen would have snapped life of me just because of greed and avarice.
