COVID-19: Super Eagles Star, Ahmed Musa Opens Up On Testing Positive

Nigerian professional footballer who also plays as forward for Saudi Arabian team, Al-Nassr, Ahmed Musa has cleared the air on rumours going around the social media that he tested positive for novel Coronavirus disease.

The Super Eagles star took to his social media account, Twitter to be precise to narrate that he truly had just returned alongside his family from Saudi Arabia where he plays.

He, however, explained that they are all gone to self-isolation since their return.

Speaking about his COVID-19 status, Ahmed urged his fans and Nigerians to shun the report of him or any of his family testing positive for the dreadful virus, describing the report as ‘FAKE’

He tweeted: “Please ignore any false news about me or my family testing positive to COVID 19.

“We are self-isolating for 14 days as we just got in from Saudi Arabia as the law stipulates. Stay safe! Maintain social distance. AVOID FAKE NEWS!”

Meanwhile, Massimo Cellino, the owner of Serie A club Brescia and his daughter have tested positive to the deadly COVID-19.
