What Buhari, Health Minister, NCDC DG Discussed As Lockdown Ends Today

President Muhammadu Buhari on Sunday night met with the Minister of Health, Dr Osagie Ehaniere and the Director-General, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Chikwe Ihekweazu.

Odogwublog gathered that the closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa was conveyed to discuss the strange disease in Kano, the lockdown and the coronavirus crisis.

Speaking to State House correspondents after the meeting, Ehanire said his Ministry is in constant touch with the Kano State Government over the strange disease killing people.

The Minister revealed that he and Ihekweazu briefed Buhari on the activities of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 and the restriction in Abuja, Lagos and Ogun States.

NCDC Reports 91 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on April 26 reports ninety-one new cases of COVID-19.

According to the report by the NCDC, confirmed cases of Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria now totalled 1273, 239 persons discharged while 40 deaths recorded.

The Nigeria Center For Disease Control on Sunday, as at 11:50 pm, 26th of April confirmed 91 new cases of Coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 1273
