CLO urges Nigerians to embrace New Year with love, peace, forgiveness and empathy

Civil Liberties Organization (CLO) Anambra State branch has appealed to Anambrarians and Nigerians to welcome 2023 with spirit of thankful and grateful to God for keeping us alive.

“Also we should live out and embraces spirit of oneness, forgiveness, togetherness, love, contentment, empathy and peace as we approach electioneering year.

Mr Vincent Ezekwueme who is the Chairman of Civil Liberty Organisation said this in his New Year message tagged “togetherness and tolerance ingredients for peace”which was also endorsed by his Secretary Mr Chidi Mbah.

“Let us use this new year to have a rethink and embrace positive thinking and behavior that will usher in new hope and accelerated development, improved security, love and forgiveness for one another.

“As 2023 general elections is approaching, we calls on our youths as future leaders not to allow themselves to be used as political thugs and ballots box snatchers, rather they should be instrument of positive change as the future leaders and tomorrow belongs to them, hence the inevitable need for them to take their destiny in their hands.

”In order to reminds Nigerians of patriotic task of electing credible leaders this year “the slogan for the new year is happy new year, arm your self with your voters card or have you collected your voters card”

”There is no doubt in our minds that this year will be better if we do the right things and do things right always CLO posited.
