Chikamara, Daughter Of APSON DG, Uduonu Dedicated At Assumption Catholic Church

Little Miss Chikamara Uduonu, the daughter of Mr. Frank Uduonu, director-general of anti-piracy society of Nigeria (APSON), has been dedicated at Assumption catholic church, Amudo, Awka on Sunday.

The child was dedicated amidst joy and thanksgivings by the Parish Priest of the Church Reverend Father Simon Peter Obiakor.

In his homily, Fr. Obiakor who spoke on “God’s Love for Us”, admonished Christians to love one another. He urged them to shun life of wickedness, jealousy and unforgiving spirit and embrace sacrificial love from God.

He noted that the highest gift God gave to mankind is love and enjoined congregation to enthrone tolerance and love in their families so that peace, brotherhood, and happiness will reign among them.

In an interview, the Mother of baby Chikamara, Mrs Jennifer Uduonu expressed gratitude to God for the gift of the child and assured that she would play her role in raising her children to be useful to the society.

The father, Mr Frank Uduonu said the new child has made him the happiest man on earth and assured to raise the child to serve and respect God.

Frank who has helped humanity through APSON, an NGO he set up to combat proliferation of fake products in the Nigerian market, urged young men not to shy away from taking responsibility. He also urged parents yet to conceive to have faith in God, the giver of child, for their own blessing.

In a reception held at the Ugwumba Aguata Street, obunagu, Awka, Evelyn Okeke who described Mr Frank as a friend appreciated God for the gift of the baby girl and prayed God to bless little Chikamara with wisdom while praying God to give the parents the resources to take care of the baby.

The dedication ceremony featured prayers, Thanksgiving, dance and reception.
