Chelsea to make conclusion on Lukaku’s future – Tuchel

Chelsea manager, Thomas Tuchel, has explained that the club is set to make a ruling on Romelu Lukaku.

This week, Lukaku shocked senior officials at Stamford Bridge, after his interview with Sky Sports Italia was aired.

The 28-year-old claimed that he was unhappy in West London and was contemplating a return to Inter Milan.

This led to Tuchel dropping the player from the squad that played a 2-2 draw with Liverpool on Sunday.

After the game, the German was asked about the future of the Belgium striker.

He replied: “He is our player, there is always a way back.

“We will clear this behind closed doors and once we have made a decision and Romelu knows, you will maybe know also. It is not to be discussed now.”
