today that Chelsea is on the verge of breaking club transfer record for German attacker, following a heart breaking comments by Dortmund’s head of football, Sebastian Kehl.

Frank Lampard need to bring in new players to blend up his youth team this summer, ahead of fierce competition next season.

Chelsea have been speculated to sign Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho earlier on, but Dortmund head of football has stated clearly that the 20 years old is still having a season to spend with the club. Hence, Sancho wouldn’t be sold this summer.

With the hope of signing Sancho this summer gone, Chelsea has shifted attention away from Sancho to a German attacker who also plays for Bayern Leverkusen.

Report from a German news outlets has stated that Chelsea are planning to break the clubs transfer record this summer, by paying a huge amount of £85m Kai Havertz valuation fee, to land the 21 years old to the Stamford Bridge this summer.

Chelsea paid a club record fee of £72m for Kepa Arrizabalaga from Athletic Bilbao in 2018, while £60m for Alvaro Morata was the highest for an outfield player.

The 21 years old versatile German attacker, who has scored six times in his last five bundesliga appearance, has also been linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid.

However, if Chelsea should missed out on Sancho despite fathers advice to join Chelsea, then I believe they shouldn’t missed out on Havertz.
