As political activities gather momentum ahead of the elections, the Labour Party (LP), aspirant for the Anambra Central Senatorial District, Venerable Tochukwu Sagacious Ikezue, has continued his consultations with key stakeholders, including a visit to the Archbishop of the Niger Province and Bishop of Awka Diocese, His Grace, Most Reverend Dr. Alex Ibezim.
During the courtesy visit to the Archbishop’s residence in Awka, Ikezue underscored the importance of spiritual guidance in leadership, noting that his ambition is driven by a desire to offer people-oriented representation.
Archbishop Ibezim, while receiving the aspirant, commended his courage in stepping forward to serve, describing the decision as one that requires integrity, sacrifice, and accountability.
He urged Ikezue to remain focused on the needs of the people and to uphold godly principles in his political journey.
The Archbishop emphasized that effective leadership must be anchored on the fear of God and a strong commitment to the common good, noting that such values are essential for sustainable development.
He assured the aspirant of his prayers and moral support, expressing optimism that his aspiration would translate into impactful representation for the people of Anambra Central.
