BUA Chairman Abdul Samad Rabiu says food prices will keep falling, crediting President Tinubu’s import duty waiver for driving costs down.

He noted rice dropped from N110,000 to N60,000 per 50kg bag, with similar declines in flour and maize, after BUA imported large quantities. Rabiu blamed past hikes on hoarding and said the waiver disrupted that trend.
