Breaking: FC Ifeanyi Ubah relegated from NPFL

Many attributed the football club relegation as poor management from the Anambra Guber Candidate.

The Anambra Warriors relegation to the Nigeria National League was confirmed on Sunday after fellow relegation battlers Warri Wolves beat Heartland by a lone goal in Ozoro.

The 2016 Aiteo Cup winners became the second team to be relegated this season after Adamawa United.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah will attempt to finish the season on a positive note when they take on another relegation candidate Jigawa Golden Stars today in Nnewi.

While the Anambra Warriors have been relegated, the visitors must avoid defeat to stand a chance to beating the drop.

Jigawa Golden are on 40 points and a win will lift them out of the danger zone should Sunshine Stars fail to get result against Enyimba in Aba.
