Beware Of Buying Liabilities For Yourselves -Ifedi Okwenna warns Ndi Anambra

Frontline Anambra State PDP Governorship Aspirant, Dr. Ifedi Okwenna has warned Anambra businessmen, investors and stakeholders to stay clear of buying off Government properties from the outgoing government in their own interest.
The Ugwumba Osumenyi made this warning today, thursday 14 January, while speaking to Stakeholders, investors and Businessmen in Ekwulobia, Aguata Local Government Area.
The former Commissioner for Environment, Mineral Resources, Science and Technology, expressed dismay on the alleged penchant of the present Government to sale the State assets to unsuspecting businessmen and investors as well as to themselves and friends using pseudonym at the twilight of their tenure.
He said that no incoming government will tolerate or allow such illegal sale to stand no matter the person or persons involved. He went further to plead with the business community, stakeholders and the entire Anambra electorates to vote PDP in this year’s election to sanitize the State and retrieve the years of the locust, the APGA government has subjected the State to.
Dr Okwenna used the opportunity to inform his hosts of his aspiration to govern Anambra State stating that he is the most prepared and experienced Aspirant among those in the race. He stated that his Government’s development objective is for the state to attain economic prosperity through a planned comprehensive and integrated development of all sectors and all parts of the State.
The Strategic plan according to Dr. Okwenna shall be known as, Comprehensive and Integrated Development of Anambra State (CIDAS). CIDAS according to him shall be anchored on the principle of Sustainable Development Goals, Agenda 2030 of the United Nations. It shall be a successor to the now rested Anambra Integrated Development Strategy (ANIDS), of Peter Obi administration, and will drive inspiration from ANIDS.
CIDAS, he stated, shall be a super participatory strategic planning that involves the citizens and gives an overall framework for development of all sectors and all parts of Anambra State at same time. He promised to upgrade Ekwulobia as the State’s 4th urban centre after Onitsha, Awka and Nnewi, in terms of infrastructure development, urban planning and renewal.
