Karim Benzema is in negotiations to join Saudi Pro League leaders Al-Hilal following a contract dispute with Al-Ittihad, a source told AFP.
Al-Hilal want the 2022 Ballon d’Or winner for the remaining six months of his deal, but his agent is seeking an 18-month contract. Benzema, who has eight league goals this season, has missed Al-Ittihad’s last two matches amid the standoff.
