Being joined in marriage is a level in life that is celebrated because it is a time when two families are brought together in friendship and long lasting ties.

This was witnessed at Adazi-Ani, Anaocha Local Government when Adaobi Enendu was joined in matrimony traditionally to her hearthrob, Tagbo Okoye of Adazi-Nnukwu.

Igbo traditional marriage and customs are colorful and festive.

It is usually filled with assorted food and drinks and different types of music appreciated with dancing which are usually witnessed during the first and second outing of the bride, welcoming their in-laws and wine carrying to show her husband to the crowd of people who came to witness the occasion.

And that was the beauty of Adobi’s entrance as young girls, her peers and old women, her mother’s friends and associates filed out to accompany her in the memorable events.

Sorrounding her, they captured eventful moments on their phones while displaying scintillating designs and admiring their friend who was adorned in a gorgeous traditionally made gown which showcases the stylishness of Igbo tradition.

As expected, the groom and his family provided the bride and her family with all the items on the list which points to the establishment of a fruitful engagement flagging of the wining and dining with lots of joy and dances.

Speaking, the parents of the bride, Chief and Mrs. Nelson Enendu who were visibly overjoyed, said that they have no doubt that the newly married couple will succeed as they are individuals of proven integrity who during their days as single persons lived life of emulation and prayed that God will continue to guide them in the right part of life.

The Parents of the groom, Chief and Mrs. Mbanefo Okoye from Adazi-Nnukwu appreciated God for blessing them with the right family as they are sure of a fruitful and successful life together and prayed for good health even as they advised them to remain prayerful at all times.

The newly married couple Adaobi Enendu and Tagbo Okoye shortly after the performance of the marital rights said they knew themselves for a while and has been able to build their love together in fear of God and urged young persons seeking for the right partners to wait on God and apply decency in all they do and appreciated all for their worm presence.

Sir GU Okeke, the Chairman of GUO Group of Companies led the Okeke family of Adazi-Ani to the event while the Member representing Njikoka, and Anaocha, Dunuukofia Federal Constituency, Chief Dozie Nwankwo and the member representing Njikoka Two Constituency at the Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr Pete Ibida led notable persons to the ceremony.

Some of the friends of the family, Chief Collins Odegbe and Chief Chinedu Madubuko while congratulating the couple described their union as a beautiful step and expressed the hope that the footprints of both successful family will continue in love, unity and fear of God and warned against involving third party into the home.
