Bandits kill three siblings after N60m ransom in Taraba

Taraba State bandits have murdered three kidnapped siblings after receiving N60 million ransom from their father alongside a motorcycle rider.

A source informed Odigwublog that the massacre of the abducted kids took place on Sunday, 25th December 2022, at a forest near Garin Dogo in the Lau Local Government Area of the state.

According to the source, “The abductors initially requested N100m from the father of the children who is a cattle dealer identified as Alhaji Musa, they later resolved for N60m after negotiation.”

The source explained that the motorcycle rider who the kidnappers killed was hired to deliver the ransom to the abductors after they had killed the three siblings.

The victims were on Monday, 26th December 2022, buried in the village.

DSP Usman Abdullahi, the state Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the killings of the victims.
