The leadership of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka North Local Government Area of Anambra State has condoled with Mrs Ngozi Okeke and Emeka Obi on the loss of their husband, Mr Chigboo Okeke, and father, Snr. Apostle Uzodimma Obi, respectively.

While Ngozi is the Isuaniocha ward secretary of the party, Emeka is the Chairman of the state’s chapter of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN).

Chairman of the party in the LGA, Hon. James Onwuka, while addressing the bereaved families at the separate funeral ceremonies which took place on Saturday at Isuaniocha and Mgbakwu communities, said that the party leaders in the LGA were deeply pained by the sad incidents.

Onwuka said that they had come to sympathise with their bereaved members and their families because the party cared about them and their wellbeing, and would never leave them behind, especially at a time like this.

“This is how we do our things. We visit and stand firmly with any of our members who encounters a challenge of whatever nature. We also rejoice with them whenever they’re rejoicing.”

At Mgbakwu, Onwuka also condoled with Obi’s family, praying God to grant them the fortitude to bear their irreplaceable loss.
