Atiku support group mobilizes votes, donates Sienna

A Non-Governmental group, Atiku Leadership Development Initiative (ALDI), comprising over 5 million eligible voters nationwide and in diaspora, recently kick-started its campaign for emergency of the People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar as President on 2019 presidential poll.

ALDI receives Sienna car gift from Ambassador Franklin Uchenna Okafor

Speaking at Awka, while receiving a Sienna car donated to the group by Ambassador Franklin Uchenna Okafor, Director Contact and Moblisation of ALDI in Spain, the ALDI Director General, Hon. Dominic Nwuzo, said their over 5 million members all over the world had permanent Voters card (PVC) and were ready to vote for the PDP flag bearer.

According to Nwuzo, ALDI which is a frontline support group of Atiku Abubakar has existed for over 2 years with membership across 6 geopolitical zones of the country, including Spain, Japan, Turkey, UK, Japan, and had been pushing for a law to help Nigerians in diaspora always participate in election.

“We have carefully organised support for Atiku with people interested in seen that Nigeria becomes a better country for all. We believe in good governance and good leadership so that the life of common man would be affected positively. They have been pushing resources to revive our economy.

“The ALDI led by Wilson D. Larry is conducting a rally in London termed ALDI on the street in London where major street in UK would on January 19 be painted for Atiku. Others are mobilizing support for Atiku all over the world in different ways. Alh. Shehu Umar, a close ally of Atiku is our co-founder. Abubakar is our life patron, while his son, Adamu Atiku is our BoT Chairman. Hon. Obiora Wisdom Anusi, Coordinator of ALDI Turkey, donated thousands of t-shirts and caps we distributed today,” he disclosed.

On his part, Ozoh Okonkwo, the Coordinator of ALDI in Anambra State, said himself and other coordinators across the six geopolitical zones, wards, local government areas and electoral wards have started mobilising Nigerians at home to get their PVC ready, vote and defend their votes during the election.
