APS Mobilizes Grassroots Support for Soludo’s Re-election — Hon. Jude Akpua
The Deputy Majority Leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Hon. Jude Akpua, has reaffirmed the commitment of Anambra Patriots for Soludo (APS) toward securing the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, citing his impactful leadership and service delivery within his first term.
Speaking during an interactive session with members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Anambra State Council, held Thursday, Hon. Akpua praised the governor’s performance across critical sectors, notingg that his administration has restructured the state’s security architecture, advanced infrastructure development, and revitalized governance.
He described APS _ as a coalition of committed citizens working to ensure Governor Soludo, who is seeking re-election under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), secures a decisive victory to continue his developmental strides.
According to Hon. Akpua, APS is actively mobilizing support across 326 electoral wards, 179 communities, as well as in markets, churches, and other strategic grassroots platforms. He emphasized that the group’s efforts are geared toward deepening public awareness of the governor’s achievements and sustaining the momentum of progress.
He also appealed to the media for support through objective and responsible reporting, acknowledging the press as a vital partner in shaping public discourse and promoting democratic values.
Welcoming the lawmaker, NUJ State Chairman, Comrade Dr. Odogwu Emeka Odogwu, commended APS for engaging with the union and assured that the organization’s activities would receive fair and balanced coverage.
