The State Chairman of the party, Mr Ricky Okorouka disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Abakaliki.

He said the registration became necessary to upgrade the party’s membership registration in line with Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) recommendations in view of the party’s primary election.

“We need to upgrade to the latest ICT acceptable arrangement of INEC, because we were made to understand that INEC would be involving this arrangement in various activities such as party primaries.
