Anambra to Spend N200m Reviving Endangered Economic Trees

The Anambra State Government will invest N200m in 2026 to revive endangered Igbo fruits and economic trees, Commissioner for Agriculture Foster Ifejiofor said on Tuesday.

The plan includes procuring ukwа, udala, bitter kola, raffia, and ogbono seedlings for distribution across all 21 LGAs as part of Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s wider agricultural expansion programme.
