Anambra Drug Merchant Bags NANDRUM Award

An Onitsha based business mogul and Director of De Trans Sunny Pharmaceutical Ltd, Mr. Sunday Ogbonna was one of the distinguished drug dealers in Onitsha who were recently bestowed award by National Association of Nigeria Drug Monitoring ( NANDRUM).

Presenting the award, the NANDRUM National Secretary and Ambassador joint Committee of Senate and House of Representatives National Assembly on drugs and Narcotics, Dr. Christabel Regan Okoye noted that Mr.Ogbonna has performed excellently in handling drugs.

She further stated that the award was to motivate him more and empower him to aide in sensitization of drug abuse, talk to youths on implications and inherent danger in drug abuse.

The award presentation
 took place at Olive guest House GRA Onitsha shorty after one day annual lecture tagged ” Drugs Abuse And Trafficking Implications In A Developing Economy” organised by joint committee of the Senate and House of Representatives on drugs and Narcotics, National Assembly and National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in collaboration with NANDRUM.

In his appreciation speech, Mr. Ogbonna expressed his overwhelming gratitudes to NANDRUM for finding him worthy for the prestigious honour, stating that he actually has passion for NANDRUM.

He praised NANDRUM for their efforts in making people liberated from drugs abuse and trafficking which he said has devastated the youths.

” Well, I do not have a special thing I am doing that fetched me the award. But maybe NANDRUM  must have seen one thing or the other from  me that attracted their attention to me. The award would encourage me for more services because, whom more is given, more is expected” He noted !
