Anambra 2021: Time for Anambra to live up to full potentials – Aspirant

A leading gubernatorial aspirant in Anambra State, Valentine Ozigbo
has said that the time is right for the state to live up to its full
potential.

Ozigbo said this on Sunday, when he visited Orumba North Constituency
as part of his ongoing state-wide constituency tour.
The visit to Orumba North, one of 30 state constituency visits that
Ozigbo is undertaking, was held in Ajalli at the residence Chief Okey
Enekwe.

Addressing party faithfuls at the event, Mr. Ozigbo reiterated his
dedication to using Anambra to set a standard for governance.

he said that Anambra has great potential which when properly harnessed
will lead to transformation as comparable to what we witness in more
developed

Ozigbo, who is the immediate past President and Group CEO of Transcorp
Plc, urged the people to unite behind his grand vision for the greater
good of the state.

“We must ensure that we get it right this time. Anambra has great
potential which when properly harnessed will lead to transformation as
comparable to what we witness in more developed climes,” Ozigbo
declared.

“What I am promising Ndi Anambra is that I will make them proud,” he said.

“For the past twenty five years, I have dedicated my life to improving
the lot or several organizations in various capacities and in diverse
sectors, and Anambra State will not be an exception,” he added.

The business leader further expressed his appreciation to his
supporters in the constituency, thanking them for their steadfast
support and for being early believers in his project.

Ozigbo seized the opportunity to recognize and appreciate some
stakeholders who have identified with and supported him since
inception.

Some of these leaders include former PDP Local Government Chairmen,
Mazi Fabian Nwosu and Alexander Nwosu; a former Council Chairman,
Chief Okey Enekwe; a former Councillor representing Nanka Ward, Chief
Ikechukwu Ezenwankwo; a former leader of Orumba North Council,
Honourable Damien Nwafor; a Permanent Secretary in Anambra State,
Ogbaji Nwabuonu; businessman and philanthropist, Honourable Obinna
Okoli; community leaders, Joel Oti and Ichie Ogumere; and the woman
leader of the VCO campaign in Orumba North, Calista Orizu..

Highlight of the tour which began in December, 2020 was the
distribution of bags of rice cooking ingredients and souvenirs.
