Anambra 2021: Nollywood Actor Zubby Michael’s Governorship Posters Flood The Internet
The Nollywood actor is contesting under the banner of All Progressive Grand Alliance Party (APGA) for the state governor in the general election that is taking place this year 2021. The power tussle is expected to be between the three topmost parties of APGA, All Progressives Congress (APC) and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Recall that INEC had fixed November 6th of this year as the date for the conduct of the Anambra Governorship election. Constitutionally and statutorily, the tenure of the present governor of Anambra, Willie Obiano will expire on March 17, 2022 and the earliest date for the Election into the office of Governor, Anambra, shall be October 18, 2021 and the latest date for the election shall be February 15, 2022.
The chances for the actor to become triumphant in the general state general election is high, if he eventually become the flag bearer of the party after primary election. The actor is very popular among his people as a talented actor, that always featured as a hit man, criminals or lead role in several movies.
The 36-year-old Zubby Micheal, political career begun when he was appointed by the present governor of Anambra State, Willie Obiano, as a Special Adviser on Media On 25 November 2019. He is now determined to become the governor of the state this year.
The youths are now clamoring for the position of leadership from the old folks that are not willing to leave the sits across the country. Just like the Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has said recently, the youths needs to wake up and take the political scene from the old leaders.
