Anambra 2021: I’m not interested in deputy governorship position — Obidigwe

The immediate past special adviser to the executive governor of Anambra state Chief Dr. Willie Obiano on political matters and now the member representing Anambra East and West federal constitutency in the green Chambers of the national Assembly, Hon. Benjamin C Obidigwe( Akaoma Jide Aku ) has reacted to the rumour making round both in social media and print media insinuating his interest in deputizing a particular governorship candidate come 2021 .
Reacting to a publication contained in sun online newspaper today , Obidigwe described such insinuation as unbelievable, impossible and unacceptable.
The federal lawmaker further maintained that those spreading the rumour should better look for something better as he is not interested.
According to the founder and national president of the most populous association in South east , the United Anambra youth Assembly, U-AYA and United Anambra Women Assembly, U-AWA ” I’m not interested in deputy governorship position come 2021 but I , my groups and associates are supporting Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo for governorship position under APGA come 2021 and we have publically endorsed him”
Obidigwe further maintained that the current leadership in the state under His Excellency Chief Dr. Willie Obiano , Akpokuedike Global has positioned Anambra to the part of greatness through his unquantifiable achievements and as such needs a consolidation of such an indelible developmental projects which prompted his choice of Soludo.
He urge speculators and political analyst from the pages of newspaper to disassociate him from deputy governorship interest come 2021 adding that the APGA government has performed tremendously well and therefore shall continue to pilot the affairs of the state .
