The Creme de la creme of Oba community in Idemili South LGA, Anambra State and environs converged at Uruokowu village, Oba as they came to commiserate with the Chairman of KAIMA Group, Nze Ifeanyi Onwupenata, Obiaomee, Ogbataonua Oba who lost his elder sister Mrs Josephine Ogbogu(Nee Onwupenata) to the cold hands of death at an unripe age of 48 Years.

The unending list of dignitaries present include the Celebrity Native Doctor, Chukwudozie Nwangwu, Akwaokuko tiwaraaki of Oba, who was yet to make a serious public appearance since he was recently kidnapped and released by unknown gunmen was among those that commiserated with Nze Ifeanyi Onwupenata, owner of Kaima hotel and suites, Obiaomee Estates, among other conglomerates who buried his sister.

The Igwe in council members led by Chief Boniface Onyeka (Okom II), Chief Sir Barr. Felix Uzor(Ichie Enyi II), Chief Ben Chibueze(Igbaluogige Oba) and other cabinet members also graced the burial ceremony to sympathize with Onwupenata’s family urging the berieved family to take heart and take care of the children left behind by the deceased.

Captains of Industries, Association of Landlords in Oba Estates, Hoteliers and Business Moguls like Engr. Chibuzo Boniface Onyema (Osuofia), Amb. Prince Chukwuemeka Ibe(Agada Agbaolusia Oba), Mr. Onyekachi Mmadunagu(Ezekwueche Oba), Chief Obi Ufondu(Dikedioramma Ochiagha Oba), Chief Sunday Agina(Obuteozuora), Ogbuefi Emefie Henry Omaka, Omemgboji Uchenna Micha among others eulogized Nze Ifeanyi Onwupenata as a Philanthropist who has touched many lives and also has been working for the interest of Oba community saying that they were present to identify with him in the moment of mourning a loved one.

According to the former Anambra State Speaker, Rt. Hon Sir. Emeka Anyaenetu, we must thank God always. We are here to encourage Obiomee to take heart because God has a time clock for everyone one of us,once it is your time you cannot resist death.

A lawyer, Chief Vincent Ananti (Aninepungwu) prayed God to comfort the berieved family asking God to help the orphans left behind by the deceased to live up to 70 years and more unlike their parents who died untimely.

Ifeanyi Onwupenata described his late sister as a mother and a peacemaker adding that she left a vacuum that would be hard to replace.

” She was like a mother to me, I am paying her the last respect, I lost her when she is needed most but God will give us the heart with which to bear the loss. By God’s grace her children will never lack so long as we are still living” said Ifeanyi Onwupenata.

Onwupenata further thanked the low, high and mighty including top security agencies top officers for Coming to sympathize with their family bidding them safe journey back home.

Earlier, the uncle to Ifeanyi, Chief Reuben Onwupenata said that the deceased suffered from the sickness for about six months. “I am 80 years old and I am not happy that I am alive and those that will bury me when I die are dying.

“If her death is what money would solve,, she would not have died. So l pray that her soul will rest in perfect peace. Her death is one too many” he stated.

Also reacting to her death, the President of Aboji Akanano, Oba, Chief Dozie Nweke, Chief Akonam Emekekwue(Akuatuegwu Oba) and Chief Udeaja Obiaome’s in-law urged Chief Obiaomee and siblings to take heart addiing that death is inevitable thing that will come when it will come praying God to give them the fortitude to bear the loss.

Highlights of the burial ceremony was presentation of assorted items/gifts by Kaima Concerned friends led by Chief Mathew Madueke and others to the bereaved family.
