As the November 8 gubernatorial elections approach, the incumbent administration led by Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo is attempting to divert political discourse in Anambra State through tactics of blackmail, mudslinging, and vendettas. In response, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) remains steadfast in its commitment to rescue our state from its current precarious situation.

This determination is reflected in the actions and attitudes of both the ADC’s Governorship candidate, Mr. John Chuma Nwosu, and Deputy Governorship candidate, Dr. Geoffrey Ndubisi Nwobu, since the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) lifted the ban on campaign activities.

Recently, Dr. Nwobu appeared on TVC, where he articulated the pressing issues hampering our state’s growth under the Soludo administration and emphasized the importance of electing him and Mr. Nwosu to reshape our political narrative for the better. He spoke passionately about taxation policies implemented by Governor Soludo and criticized the activities of “Ndi Akodo” and various touts who have caused distress for Ndi Anambra. Dr. Nwobu outlined the ADC’s plans for an innovative E-taxation system that, if elected, would be built on technology to address key challenges such as insecurity and economic development.

Ndi Anambra, it is time to make a wise decision: let’s step away from our current political trajectory with the APGA and embrace the credible alternative that will lead us to a brighter future as a people and a state.
