Africa CDC calls for cross-border cooperation to curb disease outbreaks
The Africa CDC has urged stronger cross-border collaboration, community surveillance, and vaccination to tackle ongoing disease outbreaks across the continent.
Incident Manager Prof. Yap Boum said during a briefing that while Ebola cases in the DRC are nearing containment, rising cholera and Mpox cases in parts of Africa demand continued vigilance and investment in public health systems.
