ADWOC 2026: CHS Awka Archdeaconry Hosts 40th (RUBY) Awka Diocesan Women’s Conference

President Awka Diocesan Women’s Conference, ADWOC 2026, Dr. Martha Chioma Ibezim will play host to about One thousand (1,000) expected women delegates and visitors within and outside the Diocese of Awka, Anglican Communion on June 25th, 2026.
The Church of The Holy Spirit, Awka inside Paul University Awka is the venue of the ADWOC 2026 between June 25th to June 28th, 2026
to be hosted by the CHS, Archdeaconry with these Parishes inclusive in the hosting CHS Parish, St Stephen’s Parish, Bishop Crowther Seminary BCS Awka, Paul University and other chaplaincies around CHS Awka Archdeaconry.
Dr.Mrs. Ibezim is the President, Mothers Union, Women’s Guild, Girls’ Guild and Young Wives Association of the Province and Diocese of Awka Anglican Communion.
The theme: Pressing Towards The Mark- Phil. 3:14 is apt even as the patron of ADWOC Archbishop Alexander Chibuzo Ibezim, D. Min, PhD, Archbishop of Niger Province and Bishop, Diocese of Awka is expected to grace the occasion.
Other bishops and bishops wives as well as government officials are expected across the province of the Niger to grace the occasion.
According to the Committee Chairman, Dr. Sir Chinedu Ilokanuno and Secretary, Amb. Amara Okpala, the CHS Awka Archdeaconry is ready for the host, trusting God.
This is as the Archdeacon CHS Awka Archdeaconry and Vicar CHS Awka,Ven Dr Onyeka Egwuonwu is grateful for the CHS Awka Archdeaconry worshippers particularly CHS Awka worshippers for their unprecedented support and solidarity in the preparations and planning of the June 2026 event.
Barr Chioma Egwuonwu who is the CHS Awka vicar’s wife and the Vice-President, Mothers Union, Women’s Guild, Girls’ Guild and Young Wives Association CHS Awka Archdeaconry, Diocese of Awka Anglican Communion, the CHS Awka Archdeaconry women are ready to welcome Mama Awka and Mama Province to CHS Awka.
