Acobarry Foundation hails Ifeanyi Uba’s emergence as Senate committee chairman

Acobarry Charity Foundation, a nongovernmental charity organization has lauded the appointment of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah as the Chairman Senate Committee On State And Local  Government Affairs.

www.odogwublog.com reports that Chief Ubah, who is the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, was announced the chairman of the newly created Committee by the leadership of the 10th Senate on Monday.

The committee amongst other functions, is expected to carry out oversight activities on various federal government projects, allocations, and interventions in the entire 36 states, including FCT and the 774 local government areas

A statement signed by the Chairman of the Foundation,  Hon. Onyedika Chukwuma, commended Chief Ubah’s appointment, noting that the Senator deserves such appointed especially considering his numerous outstanding works in his constituency and state at large.

The statement read: “Acobarry Charity Foundation Congratulates Sen Dr. Patric Ifeanyi Ubah as he chairs the Nigerian Senate committee on State and local government affairs

“We the members of the above Charity foundation joyfully write to congratulate you our amiable senator on your emergence as the senate committee chairman on state and local government affairs in the red chamber.

“We have known you through your numerous impacts in our senatorial district as someone who never rests until he gets the desired results in any position you are in charge of.

“Bearing this in mind, we are optimistic that the affairs of Nigerian states and local government shall breathe fresh air following your leadership as a refined technocrat.

Acobarry Charity Foundation has recently awarded scholarships worth millions of naira to indigent students and youths of Anambra. A recent programme saw the foundation award scholarship worth one million naira to one Master Christian Chukwuma, an indigene of Okpeze community in Orumba North LGA.’

The Foundation also had doled out N20m worth of UK scholarship to youths of Ndiakwu community in Otolo, Nnewi LGA, in line with Akuluo uno (Think Home) initiative of the Anambra state government.
