Abia hires 649 health workers to strengthen healthcare
Abia State has recruited 649 health personnel, including 432 nurses and a neurosurgeon, to boost healthcare services. The move fills most of 771 advertised vacancies, with plans to hire more. Governor Alex Otti was recently named the Southeast’s best-performing governor by a forum of academic doctors.
