Abducted Delta State University, lecturer, Professor Ovaborhene Idamoyibo is dead.

The lecturer died after the sum of three million naira ransom was paid for his release, Odogwublog can report.

The remains of Idamoyibo, the Head of Music Department at DELSU was found by relatives who went to pick him up after the ransom payment

Recall that Prof. Ovaborhene Idamoyibo was kidnapped by gunmen at Eku junction in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State on April 9.

His kidnappers earlier demanded a fifty million naira ransom from his wife, but sources claimed the sum of three million was eventually paid to his abductors.

At the time of filing this report, the Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bright Edafe has yet to respond to messages sent to him for confirmation.
