14 People In Aguata Council Area Join League Of “Anambra Community Role Models” Courtesy Of ASTUC Youth Wing
14 people from different communities in Aguata Local Government Area have joined the league of “Anambra Community Role Models,” courtesy of the Youth Wing of the Anambra State Town Unions Council, ASTUC, in collaboration with the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria, YOWICAN.
Among the people recognized at an event held in Ekwulobia were Sir Arinze Ezenwa from Ekwulobia, Chief Sunday Agwa from Ezinifite, Mr. Celestine Nwankwor from Isuofia, Chief Paul Umenduka from Achina, Chief Vin de Paul Ogamba from Akpo, Dr. Okwuchukwu Ezeani from Igboukwu, and Chief Arinze Okamma from Mkpologwu.
Chief Host and Aguata LGA Chairman, Dr. Chibueze Oforbuike, who was also honored at the event alongside Chief Emeka Dimude, commended the youths for what they are doing in the state, and congratulated the role models as worthy of the honor because of what they are doing in their various communities, reminding them that to whom much is given, much is expected.
Speaking after receiving their awards, Sirs Arinze and Paul, and Chief Adilieje, who advised the youths on the 2027 elections and other life issues, promised to continue impacting the lives of their people and to uphold the values of service and integrity.
In his remarks, the President General of ASTUC Youth Wing, Comrade Ken Okoli, said there are plans to bring all the community role models together for an interface with Governor Chukwuma Soludo, and for them to play ambassadorial roles for the young people, promoting the core values of onye Anambra, which include fear of God, patriotism, and self-reliance.
