Anambra Women Affairs Commissioner Gets Solidarity Visit from WIGA, Nwosu

The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Anambra State, Mrs. Chinyere Esther Onyekesi, has received a solidarity visit from the Women Initiative for Greater Anambra (WIGA) and Paul Nwosu, former Commissioner for Information.

The delegation, led by Hon. Amaka Obi, Executive Chairman of Idemili South LGA, was at the Commissioner’s office to congratulate her on her appointment.

The guests took the opportunity to extend warm congratulations to Mrs. Onyekesi on her appointment, commending her track record and pledging their goodwill as she settles into office. They also offered prayers, asking for divine direction and sound health to guide her through her tenure.

Responding, Mrs. Onyekesi thanked the visitors for their gesture, noting that such solidarity strengthens her resolve to deliver on her mandate.

She urged them to remain partners in progress, adding that their continued goodwill would be vital in achieving the Ministry’s vision for women and families in Anambra State.
