The Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke, Anambra State, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, popularly called Fr. Ebube Muonso, has said that Nigeria and Nigerians will survive and become great again despite all the tribulation and set back they suffered in the past years.

In his New Year Message at the Holy Ghost Adoration ground in Uke, on Monday, January 1, titled: “Stepping Into My Canaan Land 2024,” the Catholic cleric announced that in 2023, just like other past years, Nigeria and Nigerians suffered in all frontiers, and in all areas of life for no just cause.

Fr. Ebube Muonso maintained that in the year 2024, the glory of God will shine upon His people, and they will witness victory over their adversaries and over suffering, hunger, hardship and unemployment, killings etc.

He said, “No matter how much Nigerians were subdued in the past, let not their hearts be troubled again. Year 2024 is bringing abundant hope. 2024 is a year of reward – a year to leave the land of Egypt and enter into the land of promise – the land of Canaan.

“I see the grace of God opening unprecedented doors of favour and victory. Many stars will rise, and the Nigerian people will witness freedom in every frontier. The people will no longer labour like the elephant and eat like the ant. Nigerians will witness dreams fulfilment, because, all the promises of God upon them will be made manifest.

“In 2024, God is sending His army to destroy bad leadership, Boko Haram, unemployment, high cost of living, and other things that pose as threat to Nigeria and Nigerians.”

The cleric, however, maintained that for the Nigerian people to prosper in 2024, and witness the manifestation of God’s promises, they must strive to do the will of God.

He said, “As Nigerians, if we must please God and prosper in 2024, there are companies and relationships we must keep, and the ones we must avoid. Those that offended you in 2023 and other past years, you must forgive them. Tell God to give you a new heart to forgive, because, you must not carry excess baggage into 2024.”
