Virtuous Ladies of Integrity inaugurates, doles awards to patrons, patronesses

It was indeed a memorable event on Sunday November 27, 2022, at Shalon Hall, GRA Onitsha, Anambra State when Virtuous Ladies of Integrity officially inaugurated and bestowed awards to their patrons and patronesses.
Parish Priest of St. Micheal’s Catholic Church Eziora Ozubulu, Ekwusigo LGA, Anambra State, Very Rev. Fr. Anthony Obele, while speaking to newsmen charged Christian Mothers to ensure they dresss responsibly both at home, Church and Society in general.
Fr. Obele gave the charge in Onitsha at the event organized by Virtuous Ladies of Integrity, stating that there is need for women especially mothers to dress decently, responsibly and also checkmate what their daughters wear.
The cleric who is also the chaplain of the Association admonished Mothers to assist Church in the war against indecent dressings and immorality. He urged them to imbibe integrity to live up to expectations as their names implied.
Bus words: “I accepted to be their Chaplain because the lady in charge of the Association, I have watched her and seen her in several occasions; she possesses integrity and practices it. So, I noticed that she has a vision and she wants to lead these women to the same vision. I had to accept to be of help to them with the little I can,” said the Cleric.please
In her speech, the founder of the Association, Mrs Rosemary Chinenye Ajoko fondly called ‘Beauty Rose’ disclosed that the association was formed to assist their husbands in their families through monthly contributions.
“We planned it in a away that we want to have estate and at least every woman should own a plot of land from the Virtuous Ladies of Integrity. So, by the special grace of God, we have secured the estate and we deemed it necessary to invite our patrons and patronesses to inform them and seek for their support.”
Ajoko also hinted that they used the occasion to dole awards to their patrons and patronesses, revealing that she was inspired divinely before she gathered women and formed the Association.
“When I was showed Virtuous Ladies of Integrity in a vision, I began to ask people the meaning. The first person I ran to was Rev. Fr. Anthony Obele. He told me that what it means was that I should assemble women. Then, I started going from one woman to another to tell them what God wants us to do.”
In her address of welcome which she presented in the occasion, she explained that she had a vision of the Association in the year 2019/2020 but it began in 2021 with missions of; training ladies in skills acquisition, give succour to broken homes and down troden, promoting Igbo language, to assist less privileged ones, to lead ladies to the knowledge of Christ, to support their husbands, to act as role model to their Children amongst other.
Commenting, the Chairlady of the Association, Mrs. Ukaonu Precious Chizzy poured accolades on the invited guests, saying “it shall be well with them for honouring the invitations.
In their separate speeches, the grand patron of the Association and Chairman of the occasion, Chief Justin Okaro Esq and Prince Iyke Abiakam one of the patrons noted that the occasion was well planned. He stated that Virtuous Ladies of Integrity is growing from strength to strength and wished them well.
