The cleric however stated that Christians await the kingdom daily as Christmas by living a conscious and understanding of the second coming of Christ which he said we must be prepared since his coming is unknown to anyone.

“In this period of Advent, we are called to an intensive spiritual life as a way of getting ourselves prepared for both the first coming of Christ on the Christmas and the second coming of Christ at the end of time. Consequently,  to live this moment of preparation, we must equally heed to the any cry and invitation of God through His last  prophet, St. John the Baptist who is referred to as the voice crying in the wilderness”

“To awaits the coming of Christ is not just to watch in idleness but it is to watch and work. So, while we await, we must work, tidy up ourselves and change our old ways and bad character as well as evil attitudes and sinful life” Said the cleric.

Speaking after the event, the founder of the Association who received the inspiration to form the Association, Mrs. Rosemary Chinenye Ajoko fondly Called Beauty Rose averred that the essence of holding the thanksgiving was to appreciate God in a special way.

“My prayers to all mothers especially members of Virtuous Ladies Of Integrity both dwelling at home and indiaspora and our patrons and patronesses is that God would meet each and every one in their various need mostly in this December period. The  month of December can not see our end we,  will see the end of December and match into 2023 with joy and happiness.

“For those who will travel to village, I pray for journey Mercy and for those who will celebrate in the city, may God  almighty God keep you people safe  and provide for all of you. The most important aspect of Christmas festivity is how fine you celebrated it not where you celebrated it.

“The ‘Ugo Si mba’ profoundly advised mothers in this Christmas festival, saying ”  Christmas is a period of remembering the birth of Our Lord Jesus Christ. It is not a period of evil practice. This period is  a season of temptation and  so many people  committs  evil.

“Mothers, please explain the meaning of Christmas to your little Children and never put pressure on our husbands and our grown up Children. Remember that you will pay house rent, School fees, buy  books, pay store rent and so many unforseen expenditures in the new year which must be attended to. If you could have all these things at the back of your mind and be able to relay them to your house hold, I  don’t think this year’s Christmas festival would be a burden to you and your household. Shalom and happy Xmas to you all.”
